Beechwood House provides a highly streamlined complex care service that puts the resident and their family first. To start with, an initial risk assessment determines the basis for an individual’s resident’s plan ahead of assigning a dedicated lead nurse who oversees their residential care. The care staff are handpicked to meet the individual preferences of a particular client. Once a comprehensive care plan has been fully agreed on, we will make regular assessments and amendments based on changing requirements further down the line.
Our team of carers have a strong level of experience when it comes to providing top-quality residential complex care to meet a wide range of daily needs. We are motivated by the ability to improve an individual’s life by listening closely to the resident and their family. To do this effectively, Beechwood House works in partnership with the resident’s clinicians and other advisors such as clinical commissioning groups, local authorities, the NHS and private entities to ensure that our residential care meets all medical needs and personal preferences.
The Beechwood House Vision
Care, comfort, compassion and credibility lies at the heart of the care that we provide at our learning disability care home. We seek to create a space in which residents are free to access as little or as much residential care as they need. Beechwood House, the site of our learning disability care home, is a beautiful building constructed in 1887, sitting a few miles from the idyllic Peak District National Park. With this peaceful setting paired with our person-centred, ever-evolving residential care plan we seek to make residents feel truly at home in a happy and engaging environment.
